Description
In the Himalayan regions of Himachal Pradesh near Dharamshala, the Indrahar Pass trek forms the border between the Kangra and Chamba districts and lays bare the stretch of the Dhauladhar range. It ranges between the districts of Kangra and Chamba from an elevation of 2,875 m to 4425 m and provides a fascinating glimpse of the hamlets below.
This short trek is considered challenging as the route comprises many sharp ascents and dark rocky paths; however, you can experience the fascinating natural beauty of the Kangra Valley of Triund and take a panoramic view of Dhauladhar on Indrahar Pass.
Recently Mcleodganj was a popular tourist hill resort in search of a peaceful Himalayan city and also its rich Buddhist culture. You can reach Mcleodganj regularly with several cities in northern India such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, etc. via various governmental and private bus services. Kangra Airport (about 20 km away), and Pathankot Railway Station (85 km away), are the closest airport and train station to McLeod Ganj.

Itinerary
Day-1 Mcleodganj to triund
# You can leave Dalai lama’s seat in Triund from 9:00 am to McLeodganj. This 6-hour trek to the village of Dharamkot gives you an incredible view of the valley of Kangra.
# This is one of Himachal Pradesh’s most popular trekking routes and you can enjoy the beauty when you are setting up your nighttime tents.
Day-2 Triund to Ilaqa GotÂ
# Lahesh Cave at an altitude of 35000m is today’s first destination. Passing through a meadow scattered by boulders. At the beginning of the day, it is recommended to cross this route.
# You’re going to hit your camping destination-Ilaqa Got one hour after Snowline Cafe. Here, You can choose to set up your tents here or trek back near lahesh caves.
Day-3 To Indrahar pass and back
# Today’s 7-hour rocky trek after the lahesh caves takes you to the highlight of the Indrahar Pass at 4300 mts. The Mesmerizing view consists of kangara valley in the south of Kangra and the magnificent Himalayan Ranges.
# Marvel at the view of Ilaqa Gott for an overnight stay in Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal, Barabangahal and back to ilaqa got for overnight stay.
Day-4 Back to Mcleodganj
# The last walk takes you downhill to McLeodganj along the green valleys and along with a spectacular carpet of wilderness. Your journey ends!
